The Ashes: James Anderson points finger at batsmen after Joe Root criticizes bowlers for Adelaide defeat

England's bowlers do not deserve to shoulder all of the blame for defeat in the second Ashes Test, veteran pacer James Anderson said.
James Anderson has hit back at criticism of England’s bowlers after the heavy defeat by Australia in the second Test, following captain Joe Root's statement that the attack should have bowled a fuller length. Anderson said there is more to it, and the team must adapt better during matches.
After being thrashed by nine wickets in the Brisbane opener, England suffered a 275-run defeat in Adelaide to trail 2-0 in the five-match series, with the third Test set to start in Melbourne on Sunday.
