The Mazda CX-90 is the largest vehicle the brand has ever built and it comes with the first straight-six-cylinder engine it's offered in one of its models.
The three-row SUV offers seating for up to eight passengers and an interior trimmed in upscale materials in line with the automaker's recent repositioning as a more premium, if not luxury brand. Gary Gastelu is Fox News Digital's automotive editor.
The CX-90 is the first Mazda to offer a plug-in hybrid model in the U.S. and will be available with a performance-oriented turbocharged four-cylinder/electric motor combination rated at 323 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque.
