"Hey @RyanTAnd you made it into the pride display," Twitter user @lastforkickball tweeted Monday, tagging the author, conservative scholar Ryan T. Anderson, and adding a clapping hands emoji. "Guess @irvinglibrary staff doesn’t actually read books." The library responded:
