Telangana man drinks poison after fight with mother, prompt action by cops saves life

After the police were alerted about the missing 24-year-old, cops traced his mobile phone location. They found him in a semi-conscious state with a bottle of pesticide by his side.

Timely action by the Keesara police in Telangana on Wednesday saved the life of a 24-year-old man who had attempted suicide after a fight with his mother. The 24-year-old, a resident of Keesara in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, on Wednesday entered into an argument with his mother over some money, after which he left home in anger, police said. Later, he called his brother Naveen and informed him of his intention to take his life.
