
Telangana exams postponed, schools, colleges closed

Telangana Government has announced to shut all educational institutions except medical and postpone exams. All educational institutions (schools, colleges, hostels) in Telangana, except medical colleges, has been closed down in view of the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases.
Telangana exams have been postponed due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases. Telangana government has postponed all degree, postgraduate (PG) examinations, and announced to close all educational institutions in the state. A senior official of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) said that the revised schedule will be released later. The state government has decided to go back to online studies amid the Covid-19 outbreak. "All educational institutions (schools, colleges, hostels, gurukul institutes) in Telangana, except medical colleges, have been closed down in view of the rapid increase in Covid-19 cases, " said Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy during Assembly on March 23.More Related News
