Telangana BJP chief to launch 750-km long ‘Padyatra’ from August 9

Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday announced that he will undertake a 750-km long padyatra from Hyderabad on August 9.

Telangana BJP chief and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday announced that he will undertake a padyatra (foot march) from Hyderabad on August 9. He said that the padyatra will be launched to expose the “ill governance” of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government. The BJP leader added that he drew inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi and decided to launch the padyatra on August 9 as Mahatma Gandhi had launched the Quit India movement on August 9, 1942.
