A teenager was transported to hospital with critical injuries after a stabbing at a northwest Toronto high school Thursday, emergency officials say.
Toronto police said on X, formerly Twitter, that officers were investigating after a male youth was stabbed inside Oakwood Collegiate Institute just before 1 p.m.
The school was put into lockdown, police say.
Paramedics say they transported a 17-year-old boy to a trauma centre with critical injuries.
More to come.
