DMK minister KR Periyakaruppan was furious after a journalist confronted him about making the public wait for over two hours at an event in Tamil Nadu's Sivaganga district.
A video of DMK minister KR Periyakaruppan threatening a journalist in Tamil Nadu's Sivaganga district is doing rounds on social media.
The Rural Development minister was supposed to attend an event at 10 am. However, the minister arrived at the event only after noon, making the public wait for over two hours.
When confronted by a regional journalist over the two-hour delay, the minister threatened the journalist.
The video shows the minister furiously getting out of his car and approaching the journalist.
“Who waited for three hours? Who gave such an interview? Who waited inside?”, the minister can be seen asking the journalist. After that, the minister can be seen approaching the person recording the ordeal on the phone.
In a similar incident, DMK minister MRK Panneerselvan was also caught on camera on June 30 for being rude to a journalist who had questioned the minister regarding fertiliser shortages in Cuddalore.
