T20 World Cup: Scotland captain Kyle Coetzer said that he was proud of how everyone backs each other in his team after they pulled off a stunning six-run win over the Test-playing Bangladesh.
Scotland captain Kyle Coetzer hailed the "togetherness" in his team and said that the fightback staged by their lower order in their T20 World Cup opener against Bangladesh shows that they can win matches from any position. Scotland started their campaign in Oman with a stunning six-run win over Bangladesh.
Scotland managed to defend a target of 141. While it may have been a low target, they did well to reach 140.9 as they were 53/6 in the 12th over. "Credit to the Bangladesh bowlers, they showed high class skills. They did blow us away a bit. But you can't count any team out in T20s. We had a lot of belief in our batting depth, we do feel we can all hit the ball a long way. (Chris) Greaves and (Mark) Watt showed it."
