Fit again Suryakumar Yadav and experienced off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has replaced Ishan Kishan and Varun Chakravarthy in India’s playing XI against Afghanistan. For Afghanistan, Sharafuddin Ashraf has replaced the now retired Asghar Afghan.

Suryakumar Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin replaced Ishan Kishan and Varun Chakravarthy in India’s playing XI against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Suryakumar Yadav missed the New Zealand tie due to back spasm, while veteran spinner R Ashwin is playing a T20 International match after a gap of four years. The 35-year-old spinner’s last T20I appearance was against West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica on July 9, 2017.
