Former skipper and star all-rounder Mohammed Nabi is set to lead the Afghanistan cricket team after Rashid Khan stepped down as captain over the selection of the World Cup squad.
Star all-rounder Mohammed Nabi is set to replace Rashid Khan as the captain of Afghanistan men’s cricket team in the upcoming T20 World Cup, starting from October 17. On Thursday, Rashid Khan stepped down as the captain minutes after the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced the squad for the T20 World Cup. Rashid said: "The selection committee and ACB has not obtained my consent for the team which has been announced by ACB media.”More Related News
