T20 World Cup: Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami rested for Australia warm-up, Rohit Sharma to lead India

T20 World Cup: Both Australia and India will look to finalise their playing combination in their final warm-up game before beginning their campaign in the main tournament from October 23.

India have decided to rest Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami for their second T20 World Cup warm-up game against Australia, while Rohit Sharma will captain the team instead of Virat Kohli on Wednesday. India won the toss and opted to bat first at the ICC Academy Ground.

Rohit Sharma did not play the first practice match against England on Monday but returns for this game and will take over the mantle from Kohli, who will take the field and possibly even bowl a couple of overs it seems.
