T20 World Cup: Jason Holder added to West Indies squad after injury rules out Obed McCoy

T20 World Cup 2021: West Indies on Thursday announced they have added all-rounder Jason Holder to their 15-man squad after left-arm pacer Obed McCoy was ruled out with a leg injury.

West Indies announced on Thursday that left-arm pacer Obed McCoy has been ruled out of the remainder of T20 World Cup 2021 after he was diagnosed with an injury to his right leg. West Indies have drafted in former captain Jason Holder as a replacement for the injury pacer.

West Indies said the ICC technical committee approved their request for replacement on Wednesday, October 27.
