T20 World Cup: India are doing the right thing by getting Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul to open the innings instead of bringing in Ishan Kishan, former England captain Mike Atherton has said.

India should stick to their opening partnership of KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma instead of making fundamental changes to their squad due to just one defeat, former England captain Mike Atherton has said. Both Rahul and Rohit failed to get going in their first match of the T20 World Cup against Pakistan.

Atherton, however, said it was too early for India to be written off or a player like Rohit to be replaced at the top of the order. He also pointed that Kishan had taken time to get going in Indias' warm-up match against England, in which he had played at the top of the order.
