T20 World Cup: Bangladesh became the first team from Group B to storm into the Super 12s with a massive 84-run win over Papua New Guinea.

Bangladesh rode on Shakib al Hasan's all-round heroics to register a convincing 84-run win over Papua New Guinea and become the first team to reach the Super 12s in the T20 World Cup.

Bangladesh managed to post a competitive 181/7 on the back of Mahmudullah's 28-ball 50 and big-hitting from Shakib Al Hasan who made 46 and Mohammad Saifuddin who hammered a six-ball 19. And then the Bangladesh bowlers ran through Papua New Guinea's top-order to restrict them to 97 all out in 19.3 overs.
