London police have classified the death of a man found in The Coves over the weekend as a homicide.
The body of Levi Jordan Brown, 36, was located in a drainage ditch in the 100 block of Baseline Road West on Saturday at around 5:30 p.m. ET after police were called for a welfare check.
Records show Brown was due to appear in court on April 24 for charges involving disobeying a court order, assault and endangering animals.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are appealing to the public to contact them or Crime Stoppers with any information.
It's London's second homicide of 2023.
P.E.I.'s Public Schools Branch is looking for 50 substitute bus drivers, and it'll be recruiting at three job fairs on Saturday, June 8. The job fairs are located at the Atlantic Superstore in Montague, Royalty Crossing in Charlottetown, and the bus parking lot of Three Oaks Senior High in Summerside. All three run from 9 a.m. until noon. Dave Gillis, the director of transportation and risk management for the Public Schools Branch, said the number of substitute drivers they're hiring isn't unusual. "We are always looking for more. Our drivers tend to have an older demographic," he said.
