Ollie Robinson has already been suspended from international cricket by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) after historical racist and sexist Twitter posts he had made came to light last week during his Test debut in at Lord's.
Fast bowler Ollie Robinson has decided to take a break from the sport amid the ongoing controversy over some of his historical racist and sexist Twitter posts, that went viral during his international debut for England in London last week. Robinson has already been suspended from international cricket by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as it opened an investigation into the matter after a few of his 8-year-old tweets resurfaced on social media during the Lord's Test. Robinson was playing his debut match for England against New Zealand in the 1st Test when the historical racist and sexist Twitter posts came to light. After his suspension, the 27-year-old was replaced by Olly Stone for the 2nd Test at Edgbaston, which began earlier on Thursday.More Related News
