Suspended Jaipur Greater Mayor challenges Gehlot government's decision, matter to be heard today by Rajasthan HC

The Jaipur Municipal Corporation, Greater, Mayor was accused of using inappropriate language against the Commissioner and manhandling him with the councillors.

The issue of the suspension of Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation Saumya Gurjar will be heard by the Rajasthan High Court today on June 10. Dr Gurjar had challenged her suspension by the Gehlot government. She had termed the action taken against her as wrongful and maintained that she was not given an opportunity to put forth her stand and that her name does not even find a mention in the FIR. The matter will be heard by the double bench of Justices Pankaj Bhandari and CK Songara of the Rajasthan High Court.
