Supreme Court asks Centre for action taken report on oxygen allocation to states

The Supreme Court has asked the Centre to submit its action-taken report on the recommendations made by the court-appointed National Task Force on oxygen allocation to states and Union Territories.

The Supreme Court on Monday asked the Centre to submit the 'action taken' report within two weeks on the recommendations of the court-appointed National Task Force (NTF) on allocation of oxygen to states and Union Territories. The task force had been constituted in the backdrop of complaints that hospitals in many states and Union Territories faced acute oxygen shortage during the peak of the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
