
Students don't know how to disagree, see each other as enemies to be 'vanquished,' college presidents say

During a webinar, mulitple American university presidents shared their concerns that it has become harder to guide their students in an era of hyper polarization.
The presidents of the University of Dallas, James Madison University, DePauw University, and the University of Washington said that it now requires care and patience to craft statements for their students on important issues in such a "fraught" time. The topic came up during the webinar while professors discussed the care they had to take in making statements on the recent attacks on Israel by the terror group Hamas.
