Talking to India Today TV, former Principal Secretary to the Government Mahesh Zhade said the Ministry of Cooperation can be a game-changer for the country.

The newly created Ministry of Cooperation is being talked about strongly in political and financial circles. The question that arises now is whether this creation will be a game-changer for cooperatives in the country. The government on its part has said that the ministry will provide a separate administrative, legal and policy framework with the aim of strengthening the cooperative movement in the country.
