Delhi Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory for September 6, asking commuters to avoid certain routes across the national capital due to some special arrangements. As per the advisory, traffic will be restricted on major roads in Central Delhi during the morning and afternoon hours.
In series of tweets, Delhi Traffic Police urged commuters to avoid the following roads from 10.50 am to 11.40 am on Tuesday. These roads are: SP Marg, R/A Teen Murti, R/A Kautilya, Akbar Road, R/A MLNP, Janpath, Maulana Azad Road, R/A Windsor Place, Ashoka Road and C-Hexagon due to special traffic arrangements.
Traffic AlertKindly avoid SP Marg, R/A Teen Murti, R/A Kautilya, Akbar Road, R/A MLNP, Janpath, Maulana Azad Road, R/A Windsor Place, Ashoka Road and C-Hexagon from 1050 hrs to 1140 hrs due to special traffic arrangements.
Similarly, traffic on SP Marg, R/A Teen Murti, R/A Kautilya, Akbar Road, R/A MLNP, Janpath, Maulana Azad Road, R/A Windsor Place, Ashoka Road and C-Hexagon road will be restricted from 14.25 pm to 14.45 pm.
