Duraisingam, Chairman, CREATE – Save Our Rice Campaign, recalled the context in which the ‘Save Our Rice Campaign’ was launched in 2006 and how paddy festivals played an important role in retrieving the indigenous paddy varieties in Tamil Nadu.
