More than a week has gone by since SpaceX helped restore a full crew of astronauts at the International Space Station.
For about a month, a skeleton crew of three – including just one American – helped keep the orbital outpost up and running on their own after four other astronauts on a mission known as Crew-11 were medically evacuated. Then, reinforcements finally arrived Feb. 14 following the launch of a joint NASA and SpaceX mission known as Crew-12.
Now that the space station is once again fully staffed, the seven astronauts aboard have kept themselves busy with a slew of research experiments as the four new arrivals familiarize themselves with life in microgravity.
Here's everything to know about the Crew 12 mission, and what the astronauts selected for the venture have been up to since arriving at the ISS.
The Crew-12 mission is the latest venture under a partnership between NASA and SpaceX to send groups of astronauts to the International Space Station.
