Northeast students are increasingly choosing Southern universities over Ivy League schools, with SEC colleges seeing a 91% increase in northeastern enrollment between 2014 and 2023.

Between 2014 and 2023, SEC colleges saw a 91% increase in undergraduate students from northeastern states, according to The Sunday Times, citing government data.
USC alone is up 90% over that same period.
