South Africa vs India: Virat Kohli overtakes Sachin Tendulkar for most ODI runs for India away from home

India tour of South Africa: Virat Kohli went past Sachin Tendulkar's tally on the list of India batters with most runs in ODI cricket away from home during the series opener in Paarl on Wednesday.

Virat Kohli on Thursday set yet another record as he overtook Sachin Tendulkar for the most number of runs scored in ODI cricket away from home for India. Kohli achieved the landmark in the first of a 3-match ODI series against South Africa at the Boland Park in Paarl on Thursday.

Virat Kohli was 11 runs short of Sachin Tendulkar's tally ahead of the first ODI and the former captain went past the legendary batter after getting off to a steady start in India's chase of 297 on Wednesday.
