Virat Kohli missed out on the second Test against South Africa as KL Rahul was named stand-in captain in Johannesburg. Kohli had led India to victory in the first Test in Centurion but he did not walk out to toss for the crucial second Test starting January 3
India will be led by KL Rahul in the 2nd Test at the Wanders Stadium in Johannesburg. Regular skipper Virat Kohli misses out due to an upper back spasm but is expected to be back for the series finale in Cape Town.
KL Rahul called correctly and decided India would bat in the second Test. He confirmed that Kohli is being monitored by the physio in Johannesburg.
