South Africa vs India: Virat Kohli had been ruled out of the second Test with what the BCCI said was a spasm in his upper back, leading to KL Rahul captaining India in the second Test in Johannesburg.

India captain Virat Kohli has been doing well but the physio will have the final say on to what extent he has recovered from the back spasm that kept him out of the ongoing second Test against South Africa, batter Cheteshwar Pujara has said.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said just before the start of play in the second Test on Monday that Kohli had been ruled out with a spasm on his upper back.
