South Africa vs India: Rishabh Pant slammed by Sunil Gavaskar for 'forgettable' shot that led to dismissal

South Africa vs India: Rishabh Pant was slammed by batting great Sunil Gavaskar for the shot he attempted as he fell to Kagiso Rabada on Day 3 of the third Test in Johannesburg.

Batting great Sunil Gavaskar was not too impressed by the manner in which Rishabh Pant fell on Day 3 of the second Test between India and South Africa in Johannesburg on Wednesday. Pant fell on a three-ball duck while going for a big shot coming down the pitch. He only ended up getting a nick to the wicketkeeper.

"You have got two new batsmen at the crease and then you saw that shot from Rishabh Pant. Forgettable, no excuses for that shot, no excuses. None of that nonsense about that being his natural game," said Gavaskar in the commentary box.
