South Africa captains concerned over possible suspension by ICC: We have to be concerned about the future

Cricket South Africa is going through a crisis right now due to the impasse between the Members' Council (MC) of CSA and its Interim Board (IB).

All three captains of the South African Test, ODI and T20I teams have released a joint statement in which they have expressed concerns over the possible suspension that their country faces from the International Cricket Council (ICC) due to the current state of affairs in their cricket board. Cricket South Africa is going through a crisis right now due to the impasse between the Members' Council (MC) of CSA and its Interim Board (IB) which was expected to be resolved at a Special General Meeting (SGM) on Saturday. But the talks fell through because of the secret ballot by the MC which refused to accept long-standing proposals for amendments to its Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI) to allow for a majority independent Board and an independent Chair.
