Someone spreading love: Shoaib Akhtar reacts to viral photo of PSL fan hoping for Virat Kohli hundred in Pakistan

A Pakistan cricket fan, who was at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore for a Pakistan Super League match, held a banner, wishing for Virat Kohli's next hundred in Pakistan. The photo of the fan went viral on social media.

Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar lauded the gesture of a Pakistani cricket fan who wished for a Virat Kohli hundred and that too in Pakistan. Taking to social media, Akhtar shared the viral photo of the fan holding a banner during a Pakistan Super League match at the Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore.

"Someone spreading love at the Gadaffi Stadium," Akhtar wrote, sharing the photo of the fan who has won hearts from both sides of the border.

The photo of the cricket fan in Lahore holding a banner of Virat Kohli in India blue jersey, reading "I want to see your century in Pakistan" has been shared widely on social media. The broadcasters of the PSL also captured the man standing with the banner.

The former India captain, who has 70 hundreds, has been going through a middling patch, especially in Test cricket. However, Kohli showed signs of a return to form in the recently-concluded T20I series against the West Indies, hitting a match-winning fifty in the 2nd T20I.

Kohli, it seemed, was trying to move away from his accumulator role and take up a more aggressive approach as he went after the West Indies bowling attack from the word go even as he kept losing partners.
