Social Media Skeptics Doubt Trump's Claim That Tim Walz Will 'Unleash Hell On Earth'

One person noted that the Constitution does not actually empower a vice president to summon the forces of the blazing abyss of the damned.
Donald Trump was obviously never going to say anything nice about Kamala Harris’ pick for a running mate, but his initial attack against Tim Walz still managed to impress some people with its vehemence.
In a Tuesday press release issued shortly after Harris announced Walz as her pick, the Trump campaign claimed that, if elected, the Minnesota governor would “unleash HELL ON EARTH,” putting the warning in all caps just in case the apocalyptic overtones of “hell on earth” weren’t clear.
Sure, campaign rhetoric sometimes gets a little impassioned, but many people on X, formerly Twitter, felt that Trump’s allusion to the infernal flames of Hades might be a bit, dare we say... overheated?
And, yes, a little weird.
So social media skeptics responded en masse, many including photos of the governor posing with cute animals in a manner that does not immediately suggest a servant of Lucifer.
