Snowfall warnings in place for Prince and Queens counties
CBC
Snowfall warnings are in effect Friday on P.E.I. for Prince and Queens counties.
Environment Canada says 15 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected.
The weather agency expects precipitation will begin with a period of rain or freezing rain beginning late in the morning and tapering off overnight.
It warns surfaces like highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may be difficult to get around on. People should prepare to adjust their driving with the changing road conditions, Environment Canada said.
There are no warnings for Kings County, in the eastern part of the Island.

Sarnia City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday morning to respond to social media comments made by Coun. Bill Dennis, who criticized city spending on a new mural by Indigenous artist Kennady Osborne as “virtue signalling by woke politicians” — then made a series of comments in response to a reply from Aamjiwnaang Chief Janelle Nahmabin that some have characterized as unprofessional and aggressive.
