Snowfall warning continues for Calgary and parts of southern Alberta

Heavy snowfall is expected to fall in Calgary throughout the night, according to Environment Canada.
A snowfall warning is in place for parts of southern Alberta, with 10 to 25 centimetres of snow possible in several areas before it tapers off later on Tuesday, according to Environment Canada.
The weather agency said that Calgary will receive 10 centimetres of snow Monday night before it tapers off.
The highest snowfall amounts are forecast along the Highway 1 corridor and south. with reduced visibility in snow and blowing snow may make travel difficult, Environment Canada said.
Calgary police reported that there were 90 collisions between midnight and 11:30 a.m., including two involving injuries and 11 hit and run incidents.
"Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow," wrote Environment Canada in a statement.

P.E.I.'s Public Schools Branch is looking for 50 substitute bus drivers, and it'll be recruiting at three job fairs on Saturday, June 8. The job fairs are located at the Atlantic Superstore in Montague, Royalty Crossing in Charlottetown, and the bus parking lot of Three Oaks Senior High in Summerside. All three run from 9 a.m. until noon. Dave Gillis, the director of transportation and risk management for the Public Schools Branch, said the number of substitute drivers they're hiring isn't unusual. "We are always looking for more. Our drivers tend to have an older demographic," he said.
