Snow to fall throughout the day in London region
CBC
Londoners continue to get an early blast of winter and a messy morning commute as squalls off Lake Huron dump snow on the region.
About 20 cm of snow fell in parts of London since Sunday night and another 15 cm are expected to fall this morning and into the early afternoon.
Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for the region, with the heaviest band expected to shift east of London this afternoon.
"Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times," the weather agency warned. "Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions."
There's a 40 per cent chance of flurries on Tuesday and after that, temperatures warm up as the week goes on.
School buses in the region are not cancelled, but there are delays across the city. Parents are urged to check the My Big Yellow Bus website for information.
