CM MK Stalin taste delicacies
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin during the DMK general council meeting at Uthangudi tasted the delicacies arranged for the party cadre who attended the meeting. As both non-veg and veg dishes were prepared, he was served the delicacies. He ate along with some of the senior Ministers like K.N. Nehru and E.V. Velu, Lok Sabha MPs A. Raja, T.R. Baalu and other leaders.
Dishes being prepared
As the general council meeting witnessed party cadre from all parts of the State dishes, both veg and non-veg were prepared for those attending the meeting. While the food was served in a closed air-conditioned hall, the preparation was carried out in the space outside the hall. More than 15 dishes were served in both the sections. As food was arranged for more than 15,000 people, close to 13,000 ate at the venue, said party sources.

At the venue of the general council meeting, the entrance was decorated with the structure of Anna Arivalayam, the party office in Chennai, with the faces of leaders on them. While Mr. Stalin and deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin occupied the central spot, late leaders M. Karunanidhi and C.N. Annadurai were placed on the other places. Cadre with enthusiasm clicked selfies with the decorations and photos of the leaders to digitally etch their participation in the grand event.
