Smriti Mandhana scored a 57-ball century to become the second batter after Elysse Perry to have a century in all three formats playing in Australia and the second Indian after Mithali Raj to have multiple T20 centuries.
Smriti Mandhana scored 57-ball century and ultimately finished unbeaten on 114 off 64 balls in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) on Wednesday, thus becoming the first Indian to score a ton in the league. Her effort was in vain, however, as her team Sydney Thunder could only score 171/2 in reply to the Melbourne Renegades' 175/4. Mandhana is now the second Indian batter after Mithali Raj to score two centuries in T20 cricket and the second woman after Elysse Perry to score centuries in all three formats of the game while playing in Australia. She has also equaled the record for the highest individual score in the WBBL.
