Hours after resigning as chief minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh spoke to India Today about his equation with the Congress leadership and whether he would endorse Navjot Singh Sidhu as the party's face ahead of the 2022 Assembly polls.

Captain Amarinder Singh (79) resigned as the chief minister of Punjab on Saturday. His resignation, along with that of his council of ministers, has been accepted by Governor Banwarilal Purohit.
