Shubman Gill should relax, pressure of expectation is getting to him: Sunil Gavaskar

Batting great Sunil Gavaksar has reckoned that Shubman Gill was struggling to score because of the pressure of expectation. He said that there will be failures and Gill will have to learn from it.

Former India batsman Sunil Gavaskar has reckoned that Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) opener Shubman Gill struggled in IPL 2021 because of the pressure of expectation. Shubman Gill scored 440 runs in 14 matches at an average of 33.84 in IPL 2020 but in the 14th edition, he struggled to score in all the 7 matches KKR played before the postponement of the tournament in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.
