Seven Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists arrested by the J&K police from Shopian

Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested seven terrorists associated with Hizbul Mujahideen group from Shopian district.

The Jammu-Kashmir Police have arrested seven Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist associates from multiple areas of the Shopian district of South Kashmir. According to a police statement, “Shopian police, during naka checking, arrested seven OGWs (Over Ground Workers). During the search, two hand grenades, three AK type magazines and 105 live rounds of AK were recovered from their possession.” All seven revealed that they were OGWs of HM Outfit. In this regard, a case was registered under Indian Arms Act, 13, 18, 20, 23, 38 ULA(P) at the Shopian Police Station. An investigation is underway.
