Indian shares edged up to near record highs on Wednesday in choppy trading, boosted by gains in heavyweight financials and healthcare stocks. The blue-chip NSE Nifty 50 index was up 0.14% at 15,763.85 and the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex fell 0.16% to 52,361.19 by 9:33 am.
