Senior BJP leaders under scanner as Kerala Police makes headway in Kodakara highway robbery

Kerala Police’s investigation into the black money – highway robbery case has reached a crucial stage. Highly-placed sources in the state police department say senior BJP leaders are under the scanner in connection with the case.

As per the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Kerala Police which is probing the Kodakara black money highway robbery case, the investigation has reached a crucial stage and senior BJP leaders are under the scanner at present. "The investigation has reached a crucial juncture. The politicians have clear links to this black money and the robbery. In fact, two of the accused visited the BJP office after the crime was committed," said a highly placed source in the investigating team. On Wednesday morning, BJP Thrissur district president KK Aneesh Kumar was questioned by the police in connection with the case.
