Senator Marco Rubio: "Everyone should be vaccinated. There's no reason not to be vaccinated"

Florida Senator Marco Rubio told "CBS This Morning" there is no reason why Americans shouldn't be getting a COVID-19 vaccine.
"Everyone should be vaccinated. There's no reason not to be vaccinated. I'm vaccinated, my family's vaccinated. The people shouldn't listen to people who tell them not to, all these things that are out there being said are just not accurate. At the end of the day, it's up to people to make that decision," Rubio said. Florida accounts for 20% of all new COVID-19 infections. Despite this, Rubio said it is not the government's responsibility to ensure people get vaccinated.More Related News
Ashley White received her earliest combat action badge from the United States Army soon after the first lieutenant arrived in Afghanistan. The silver military award, recognizing soldiers who've been personally engaged by an attacker during conflict, was considered an achievement in and of itself as well as an affirming rite of passage for the newly deployed. White had earned it for using her own body to shield a group of civilian women and children from gunfire that broke out in the midst of her third mission in Kandahar province. All of them survived. She never mentioned the badge to anyone in her battalion.
