Search for missing Sheshatshiu snowmobiler enters 4th day

The search for a missing snowmobiler who hasn't been heard from since leaving an isolated cabin Monday is entering its fourth day Friday at Mistastin Lake, Labrador.
Members of the Innu search and rescue team from Natuashish and Sheshatshiu are on the ground, with the help of helicopters from the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre.
Speaking from Mistastin Lake on Friday morning, search co-ordinator Mark Nui said the ice on the lake is very thin and unsafe.
Joachim Andrew, 41, of Sheshatshiu left around 6 a.m. Monday from a cabin at remote Mistastin Lake for Natuashish, more than 130 kilometres away.
He has not been heard from since.
Nui said Friday's search will focus on the east side of the lake. An underwater drone search Thursday did not turn up any sign of the missing man.
Search and rescue helicopters hoisted all-terrain vehicles in large nets to reach the site this week, for searchers to expand their efforts.
