CBC
Schools in western Prince Edward Island are operating on a one-hour delay Tuesday morning due to snowy conditions overnight.
The delay applies to all schools in the Westisle family, as well as École Pierre-Chiasson.
A snowfall warning was in effect for Prince County on Monday, and has now ended.
As of 6 a.m., the plow dispatcher in Prince County said there was significant snowfall in the area. Main roads are bare but wet, while parts of Western Road remain partially covered. Some side roads have yet to be cleared, but crews are working on them.
In Queens County, main roads are clear, though some side roads remain slushy.
Similar conditions are reported in Kings County, where main roads are wet and bare, but some side roads are too soft for crews to access at the moment.

This year marks 200 years since London was founded. As part of the bi-centennial, local carver Mary-Ann Jack-Bleach is paying tribute to some of the city's black pioneers. Once complete, the carving will be displayed at the Silverwoods Community Centre this fall. Jack-Bleach spoke with CBC Afternoon Drive host Matt Allen about the individuals being featured in the carving.
