Delays and closures, including the cancellation of several families of schools, are in effect across parts of P.E.I. Wednesday morning after an overnight snowfall on the Island.
CBC meteorologist Tina Simpkin said snow will continue to fall Wednesday morning, with another two to five centimetres possible, especially for Queens and Kings counties. Snow in Prince County, however, is beginning to taper off.
“It is going to end from west to east, beginning this morning and then ending a little bit later this morning,” Simpkin said.
