SC refuses urgent hearing to appeals in Karnataka Hijab case

The Supreme Court has declined to accord urgent hearing to appeals in the Karnataka Hijab case.

The Supreme Court has declined to give an urgent date of hearing for the appeals in the Karnataka Hijab case. The court said, "will hear in due course."

Senior Advocate Devadatt Kamat appearing for the petitioners, said, "There’s an urgency. The exams are beginning, that is the issue.

To which the Chief Justice of India said, "Exams have nothing to do with this issue."
