Samsung has released teasers ahead of the Galaxy S26 series launch. The teaser highlights the camera improvements in the upcoming phones, which are set to be launched on February 25.
Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S26 series phones. While the official launch date has yet to be confirmed, the phones are widely expected to debut on February 25. Ahead of that, the company has released three teaser videos, hinting at improved camera performance of the upcoming S26 phones.
The teaser videos do not explicitly mention the device name but we know it the company is talking about the S26 series. Because that is what Samsung is expected to launch by the end of this month. In the teaser that has been released, the company hints that one of the top highlights of the S26 series could be its camera performance.
The teaser in particular highlights improved zoom capabilities and low-light performance. One clip shows a text "Closer" turning into "CLOOOSER," hinting that at least one of the S26 series phones may have three cameras. The clip then zooms in from 5x to 10x on a dog setting inside a car.
Another teaser shows a nightclub video of a lady DJ, emphasising the upcoming phone’s video quality in low-light settings. Then there is one more teaser, which too hints at improvements in low-light video quality. It shows a woman dancing while holding a firework, accompanied by the caption, “It looks dark. It films bright.”
Galaxy S26 series camera specs
It is expected that the S26 series will have three phones, with the pack being led by the S26 Ultra. This would be the most advanced, and also most expensive, phone of the bunch. It is rumoured that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x zoom and a 10-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
