With its first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year just 2 days away, Samsung is once again finding itself at the centre of the leak cycle. Fresh promotional material that has surfaced online now offers an early look at what the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra might bring to the table when it officially breaks cover on February 25. And if these details hold true, Samsung’s top-end flagship could arrive with fewer changes than many fans were hoping for, particularly in two key areas that usually matter most to buyers - battery and camera.

The leaked material, said to be shared by X user @ya_sking12767, appears to include official-looking marketing slides for the Galaxy S26 lineup. Alongside the standard Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, the Ultra model is shown in polished renders, hinting at a launch that could also include the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro. While the visuals suggest a familiar premium design language, the finer details point towards a more conservative hardware approach this year. One of the biggest talking points is the battery. According to the leak, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will continue to use a 5,000mAh battery, which is the same capacity seen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Samsung is also said to be sticking with identical wired charging speeds, with the phone reportedly capable of going from zero to 75 percent in about 30 minutes. Battery life figures mentioned in the material claim up to 31 hours of video playback, which again mirrors last year’s numbers rather than pushing the bar higher.

For a segment where rival Android flagships have started offering noticeably larger batteries such as 6,000mAh to 7,000mAh in recent months, this decision could feel underwhelming to Samsung loyalists. Expectations were high that the Galaxy S26 Ultra would finally get a meaningful bump in capacity or charging speed, but the leak suggests Samsung is prioritising consistency over headline-grabbing upgrades.
