India legend Sachin Tendulkar has been hospitalised after he tested positive for coronavirus on March 27. Tendulkar confirmed the same on his official Twitter account.

Indian cricket great Sachin Tendulkar, six days after testing positive for coronavirus, on Friday said that he has been hospitalized as a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice. Sachin also wished his teammates and every Indian cricket fan on the 10th anniversary of India's 2nd World Cup win. Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home in a few days.
